You have Narcissa, who is so tied to her son and willing to do anything to save him. Even if that means going against the Dark Lord's orders. Then you have Bellatrix, whose strongest loyalty is to the Dark Lord. She chooses to remain loyal to him even when her own nephew is going to be sent to do such a dangerous task. A task he didn't have any real chance of succeeding at. Ultimately, their loyalties (which are both very strong) lie in two very different places. Bella doesn't like that Cissy would go against the Dark Lord's orders, and thinks she should be proud that Draco was chosen to do this. It is tough for the two of them, when their loyalties are so different. It is difficult, because while I don't think Bella would ever seriously hurt or kill her sister, I have to wonder what would happen if the Dark Lord ordered her to. The same could be said of Narcissa... How far would she be willing to go to protect her son & husband? I actually think Narcissa might be more capable of doing it, if it really came down to it. She gave me the impression that she'd stop at nothing to protect her own. I really am having trouble seeing Bella being able to kill her sister. She would probably try to reason with her as much as she could though, as she did in Half-Blood Prince. Cissy, on the otherhand, does not seem the type to fool around with the lives of her son & husband. When I read the book it seemed like they wouldn’t want to hurt the other, but being Slytherins they could very well live up to the old Slytherin ways of 'any means to achieve one's ends'. I loved the relationship these two had. It is very interesting and very complex, and also very dangerous. I personally cannot wait to see what happens in the seventh book. Hopefully we’ll get to see them together again. :)
